Block Ads Natively From Network Level Via Hosts File This may either affect the performance of your browser or even deplete your battery real quick. Of course, there are multiple extensions to serve you of this purpose like Adblock Plus or Adgaurd, but most of these extensions keep running as background processes in your browser while you surf the web. The only way to avoid all this is to block these ads in your browser. Few ads are so harmful they might even redirect you to a download and then install some malware or spyware on your computer. ![]()
